PDND - National Digital Data Platform
What is PDND?
The National Digital Data Platform (PDND) enables interoperability among public agencies and public service providers by managing authentication, authorization, and tracking of authorized users to ensure information security and interactions.
The PDND simplifies or eliminates bureaucratic steps related to interoperability by fully digitizing them.
The purpose of the platform is to ensure full interoperability of datasets and core services among central and local government agencies, which makes it possible to implement the “once-only” principle (the public administration does not ask citizens and businesses for data it already has) and to leverage information assets of public administrations.
PDND provides the API Catalog, which lists all the e-services published by government agencies and through which it is possible to request access to data and subsequently integrate these services into their own services for citizens.
