ANPR - National Registry of the Resident Population

What is ANPR?

TheNational Registry of the Resident Population (ANPR) It is the national database that centrally collects and manages citizens' information regarding personal records, voter registration, and civil status.

Also accessible via API, ANPR enables public administrations to view and update data in a standardized, secure, and interoperable manner.

The goal is to streamline all civil registry, electoral, and civil status procedures through a single database, overcoming the previous fragmentation of municipal databases and ensuring that information is consistent across government agencies.

Thanks to interoperability, ANPR makes it possible to offer services to individuals and businesses aimed at increasing the efficiency of administrative processes and reducing the amount of data requested from citizens, based on the “once-only” principle.

The platform facilitates integration and the exchange of information between municipalities and public administrations, promoting the delivery of simpler, more reliable, and more consistent digital services for citizens and service providers.
